Spring Seat Locators

Supertech spring seat locators are precision machined to properly locate the valve spring on the cylinder head. They prevent the spring from walking under high RPM operation and protect the aluminum head surface from wear caused by direct spring contact.

Seat locators are also used to fine tune spring installed height, and are designed to work together with Supertech valve springs and retainers as part of a complete, matched valvetrain package.

Key Features

  • Precisely locates the valve spring on the head
  • Prevents spring walk at high RPM
  • Protects aluminum head surfaces from wear
  • Used to fine tune spring installed height
  • Machined to precise thickness and diameter
  • Matched to Supertech spring inner and outer diameters

Applications

Included in many Supertech spring kits and available separately for custom combinations. Verify installed height and spring seat fit during cylinder head assembly.
