Redline Tuning 1979-1998 Ford Mustang Hood QuickLIFT PLUS

This QuickLIFT PLUS System fits the following Ford Mustang Fox-Body & half of the SN95 Mustang model years: 1979 1980 1981 1982 1983 1984 1985 1986 1987 1988 1989 1990 1991 1992 1993 1994 1995 1996 1997 1998. Also fits the 1979-1986 Mercury Capri. This system is designed to work with nearly EVERY stock and aftermarket hood out there. We have been selling this system for nearly 2 decades and are well-known for our hood QuickLIFT systems. This system uses a special rivet to attach the hood brackets - it will bind the bracket to any material from any aftermarket hood out there. As long as the hood you are using has a copy of the stock hood's understructure or frame (commonly done), our hood brackets then rivet into place. With the mounting locations we use, our system uses very low force gas springs which put very little stress on both the hood and fender, yet lifts and holds the hood open securely. When installing our QuickLIFT System, you can set the raised open position. This means that if you have a large cowl hood you can mount the system such that the hood stops just short of the cowl touching the windshield.
