Q1: What is the Warranty
A1:This transmission is Covered by a Non-Transferable 6 Month Unlimited KM Warranty. The following is NOT covered by this Warranty:
- Time and Expenses to Remove and Re-Install the transmission
- Time and Expenses to Ship the Transmission to and From Raptor Racing
- Neglect due to improper Fluid and Fill Procedures
- Abuse
Q2: How soon After Raptor Racing receives my Transmission will I get my Core Charge Back
A2: Core Inspection takes approximately 2-3 weeks. During this time your Core will be fully inspected and used to rebuild the next unit for our stock. Any damaged components will be need to be replaced and this replacement cost will be taken off your Core Refund. Please talk to us BEFORE you order if you have any concerns with this.
Q3: Why is Raptor Racing using a Wavetrac LSD and not a Quaife
A3:We believe there is NO better option for LSD's than the Wavetrac; as seen on their site: The Wavetrac Differential is the only torque biasing differential on the market with patent-pending technology that mitigates wheelspin when an unloaded wheel condition arises. During zero axle load conditions, the Wavetrac cam device acts to create internal load, maintaining drive on the gripping wheel instead of acting like an open diff (and going nowhere!). Not only this the warranty of the LSD is transferable, you can read about the wavetrac on our site here
Q4: I have a 2018 with a Factory LSD, what are my options.
A4: Our pre- built ready to go transmissions will ONLY be offered fully loaded with the Wavetrac LSD. If you buy this you will have to either sell your Factory LSD or keep it as a spare. We will shortly be offering transmission rebuild services that will allow you to ship/bring your transmission to us for a rebuild, but at this point in time this service is not being offered.
