Over the years many MK2 owners with bolt in Aluminum Rads have complained about corrosion issues with their radiator. This corrosion is called Galvanic Corrosion and is explained

here. Unlike the MK3 the MK2 upper rad mounts have no rubber so it's "metal on metal. We have developed in install kit which consist of:
- Custom High Heat Silicone Gasket
- Nylone Hardware
Together these 2 will help prevent Galvanic Corrosion and prolong the life of your Radiator.
