JKS Manufacturing Jeep Wrangler JK Cable Actuated Sway Bar Disconnect Retro - JKS9500

Convert the electronic sway bar on your Jeep Wrangler JK to a more reliable manual cable with a JKS Sway Bar Cable Conversion Kit. The electronic front sway bar disconnect system, or SmartBar, equipped on Wrangler JK Rubicon models was a welcome addition and a strong selling point for those of us who take our vehicles off-road.

If you prefer a good old-fashioned manual solution, this heavy-duty cable conversion ensures positive engagement and disengagement even on uneven surfaces. Sheathing protects the cable and ensures smooth operation. The included 2-way drill guide facilitates drilling during installation.

Features:

• Mechanical control of sway bar eliminates reliance on unreliable electronic circuitry and cheap internal motor.
• Heavy-duty actuator cable ensures positive engagement and disengagement of the sway bar disconnector even on unlevel surfaces.
• Isolates control of sway bar from vehicle computer ensuring temperamental TIPM and other electrical systems cannot disable sway bar operation.
• Affordable alternative to factory replacement of non-serviceable electronic sway bar system.
• Supplied 2-way drill guide ensures accurate drilling and eliminates potential for error.
