The 7.3L Godzilla Cam Phaser Limiter Kit #5473 restricts cam phaser motion for high-performance camshafts creating a broader powerband. Limiter notch ensures stock oil flow is not impeded and disassembly tool is included for easier install.

The COMP Cams® Cam Phaser Limiter Kit for the 7.3.L Ford Godzilla pushrod engine restricts cam phaser motion for high-performance camshaft use. It combines the benefits of a larger camshaft with stock cam phaser technology to make a broader powerband. The kit includes a tool that allows simultaneous compression of phaser springs in Ford’s 7.3L Godzilla engines and ensures the spring lock engages at its optimal location as well as the special socket necessary to remove the factory camshaft phaser retaining bolt. Installation of the included limiter plug provides the necessary valve clearance for a high-performance camshaft while retaining the benefits of VVT technology. Combining this modification with more aggressive camshaft profiles has resulted in large upper-RPM gains without sacrificing bottom- or mid-range performance. A limiter notch ensures that stock oil flow is not impeded.
