Upgrade your stopping power without breaking the bank with the Baer Big Claw brake kit. The Big Claw kit includes a pair of larger than stock diameter rotors (up to 2 inches larger on some applications) that are purpose cast with directional cooling vanes, along with a pair of new caliper relocation brackets to move the calipers outward to accommodate the larger rotors while maintaining OE Pad and hardware fitment.
Independent third-party testing showed up to a 49 percent gain in braking effectiveness due to the increased brake torque and leverage from the larger diameter rotors, along with as much as a 200-degree reduction in brake rotor temperatures vs OE in extreme conditions due in part to the curved vane design. Together, these equal improved stopping distances, reduced brake fade and enhanced braking confidence all at a fraction of the cost of other leading replacement kits.
Because of the abundance of wheel companies and styles, it is impossible for Baer to guarantee the fit of the Big Claw rotors into a specific wheel. To verify fitment, we recommend using the template specific to the system you are interested in and compare it to the wheel of choice, including spare tire/wheel.
Features and Benefits:
- Oversized Rotors Deliver Greater Brake Torque and Leverage for Improved Stopping Power (Use Template Below to Verify Wheel Fitment including Spare Tire/Wheel)
- Cross-Drilled and Slotted Friction Surface Helps Vent Dust and Gases for a More Consistent Pedal Feel
- Purpose-Cast, 1-Piece Directional Vane Rotor Acts Like a Centrifugal Pump to Maximize Airflow and Improve Cooling for Reduced Brake Fade
- New, OE-Style Brackets Reposition the Caliper for Larger Rotors While Maintaining OE Pad and Hardware Compatibility
- Simple, Direct Bolt-on System, No Bleeding of the Brakes Required
- Brilliant Zinc-Plated Finish Resists Rust and Corrosion While Enhancing Visual Appeal Behind Open-Spoke Wheels
