UPR is now offering this complete Pro Series Rear Coil Over Kit for your 1979-2004 Ford Mustang with Viking Performance Crusader High Force Double Adjustable Shocks. This kit allows use of the factory shock mounts so no welding or fabricating is required while allowing you the benefits of a coil over rear suspension. The main benefits from a coil over suspension is first reducing unsprung weight due to how much lighter they are in comparison to a stock style spring. Second is the adjustment in ride height either up or down allowing you to dial in your suspension for the conditions you'll be using the car in whether it's on the drag strip, or road coarse. Shocks mounts are fully welded and zinc plated for corrosion resistance and durability. This kit features Viking Performance C309 Double Adjustable Crusader Coil Over Shock. 11.57" compressed height and 16.76 extended height. The rebound side has 22 available position of adjustments that generate a progressive curve, while the digressive compression has 19 positions of adjustment, for a total of 418 different valving combinations. Crusader™ shocks are rebuildable and revalveable. In addition, the rebound valving adjustment range can be easily changed without completely disassembling the shock absorber since they feature an interchangeable needle and seat design. Valving changes can be made using only basic tools in a process similar to jetting a carburetor. A wide variety of needles and seats are available to allow for a nearly infinite amount of fine-tuning of rebound forces to make the shock as stiff or as soft as desired. This is a race style shock that is not recommended for street use.
AJ (standard compression, mild rebound) general low hp rear valving, radial cars
