AGS Description
Active grille shutters (AGS) are computer-controlled shutters located behind the grille that are used to optimize aerodynamics and engine warm up times. To verify whether your car is equipped with an AGS, observe your front grille as the car is turned on (cold engine). If your car is equipped with an AGS, you will notice an assembly of shutters open and close behind the grille.
