VMP Race 8-Rib FEAD for Supercharged Coyote 5.0 L

VMP's famous FEAD Kit in 8-rib is designed to work with factory 5.2 L Predator balancers (M-6316-M52A or KR3Z- 6312-C) and the stock Mustang GT 5.0 L front engine cover.  Save time and money when doing your Predator swap.  

The differences in this kit versus our standard 6-rib Street FEAD kit (VMP-SUT018):

• Includes 8-rib front cover idler
• Includes 8/10-rib idlers
• Includes heavy duty belt tensioner (VMP-SUT009)

Works with Predator swaps.  SUT028 Includes idlers for an 8-rib belt.  Minor clearancing is required of one front cover boss to clear the wider 8/10 rib-idlers.

This kit includes:

• Billet aluminum FEAD bracket with mounting hardware
• Two VMP-60-SM-DB idler pulleys with double row bearings
• Heavy-Duty cast automatic belt-tensioner with VMP-60-SM-DB idler pulley
• 8-rib idler pulley, spacer and bolt for front cover boss

*Your front cover must have the machined idler boss and machined tensioner pad. Early 2011 model year Coyotes lack these features. In this situation install a new front cover.

*You must use the correct balancer and AC clutch pulley

A note about belt lengths with this kit:

• The shorter K080702 belt is recommended with this kit when using the stock 3" Predator supercharger pulley, due to the smaller idler included with the tensioner.
• If the belt is too loose or too tight, the tensioner may make a clicking noise.
