VMP by PWR 103 mm High-Boost Race Intercooler core '03-'04 Cobra Terminator

This part is a continuation of our intercooler core development for the '03-04 Cobra “Terminator”.  Through extensive testing on some of the fastest Cobras in the world, we have found a benefit to increasing air side fin size from 4.85mm to 7mm.  The downside of more air-flow area is less water channels.  The thicker design of this core compensates for that somewhat, however, we only recommend this core in race applications.  Race setups should have high flow pumps installed, minimum 12 GPM water flow.  See our ice tank and CMAX pump combo VMP-ICE300.  

Street application should continue to use the higher-density VMP-SUC037 87 mm race core.  The additional cooling this core provides ensures the most possible timing on pump fuels.

Uses the same water manifold as the 87 mm core VMP-SUC037.

• Bar and plate style for efficiency and durability
• 103 mm thick core for the best cooling performance
• 7mm air side fin
• Recommended for 900 rwhp and above to reduce pressure drop across the core
• 13% or 12mm wider than stock (maximum width allowed by mounting bolt pattern)
• Increased flow area reduces pressure drop and improves cooling
• 25% decrease in peak downstream air temps during a WOT pull or 1/4mi pass
• Improved tube design compared to stock
• More efficient air-side fine design compared to stock
• Low water-side restriction allows high performance pumps (EMP, etc) to see a drastic increase in flow over the restrictive stock core.

10x black allen head M5 x .8 x 16mm bolts and loctite for mounting the intercooler core.
