These sensors, by monitoring intake manifold vacuum, measure the amount of load being placed on the engine. The MAP sensors relay engine load output to the ECU, which in turn adjusts fueling for optimum performance and economy.

This adapter pigtail with 3 Male Weatherpack terminals adapts an older MAP sensor with 3 Female Weatherpack Terminals to a newer Metripack/LS style harness.
