Its inverted top makes for more filter surface area, resulting in longer service intervals._x000D_ Unique One-Piece Housing: The sealed heat-resistant housing, constructed of XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer, features our patent-pending filter-to-housing interface and a clear sight window that allows for hassle-free filter inspection. An aluminum heat shield panel on the side of the housing deflects hot air emitted from the turbocharger, ensuring the system's two air inlets bring in the coolest air possible. In addition to the massive auxiliary air inlet, this intake utilizes the vehicle's OE air inlet with no additional hardware._x000D_ Reinforced Silicone Intake Tube: This intake system utilizes a flexible silicone intake tube that is reinforced with four layers of nylon material, making it virtually resistant to wear and deterioration.
