    Email priority communication

There is a time for emails and a time immediate contact by phone. This situation was a phone only situation in my opinion. The email sent by Raptor to Roush about the missing parts on Wednesday afternoon was never recieved by Roush, i called them thursday morning and they told me no email was ever recieved by them from Raptor. They told me to call Raptor and insist a phone call be made, i did but my call went to a voice mail. Roush called me back 30 minutes later and started the process of sending out the missing parts directly to the local Roush dealer. It was during this process that the Roush rep i spoke to advised that his colleague recieved a call from Raptor.
The concern, it was almost 24 hours after the Raptor email was sent that Roush still had not recieved. The first confirmation of the problem that Roush got was from my PHONE call to them.
I get it that Raptors procedures are based on email contact not phone contact. In this urgent case email contact failed two different Roush customer service agents looked for that email and neither could locate it. We lost 22 hours while Raptor waited for a response to email that Roush never knew existed.
I was a business owner with more than 15 million in anual sales and 10 employees so I have an understanding of customer service.
Its not my place to question Raptors business model with respect to email priority for communication, i can only convey how that priority worked for me in this particular situation.

    Respectfully submitted
    Gord Cowan
