HKS SUPER FIRE RACING M40iL

UPER FIRE RACINGsuper fire racing

[HKS Super Fire Racing Plug M Series]

The ultimate and strongest plug “M”.

All of the ignitability, durability, and fog resistance have been strengthened.
We have created the strongest plug that brings out the performance of tuned engines and is also effective on normal engines.

Specifications/Features

0.6mm Iridium alloy center electrode
Uses an iridium alloy center electrode that reduces the required voltage and improves ignitability while providing excellent durability.
Ground electrode with platinum square tip
improves wear resistance and improves ignitability when combined with iridium alloy center electrode. In addition, the tip can be shortened, and the tapered shape secures space volume.
Short type seismic grounding
electrode By shortening the length of the electrode and optimizing its cross-sectional shape, we have achieved a reduction in mass while increasing the section modulus. Contributes to improving the strength and durability of the ground electrode.
ThermoEdge
Carbon buildup caused by long-term idling and various combustion environments, including the air ratio, can reduce insulation and cause misfires. By providing a thermo-edge at the tip of the insulator, a micro discharge is generated to burn off the accumulated carbon, ensuring insulation at all times.
The gap between the insulator at the tip of the auxiliary spark gap
and the ground electrode surface is narrowed to generate discharge, and like ThermoEdge, it suppresses carbon buildup and prevents fogging and fogging.

Performance and its effects

Improved ignition performance
By reducing the required voltage, the ignition power is enhanced in environments where it is difficult to burn, such as with a lean mixture or under high boost. In addition, by securing the space volume around the electrode, the combustion speed becomes faster, leading to improved torque, response, and combustion efficiency.
Improved durability
The strength of each part has been significantly improved through the selection of materials and new design of the shape. It demonstrates its original performance even under severe combustion conditions such as continuous high-load operation such as circuit driving and tuning.
*If the combustion condition is not appropriate or if the heat value is selected incorrectly, the plug may be damaged.
Improved carbon fouling resistance
Prevents fogging and fogging and promotes more reliable ignition in various combustion environments.

Specially designed RE type for rotary engines

Rotary engines have special mechanisms and combustion conditions, and are specially designed to meet performance requirements that differ from reciprocating engines, including their shape. Adopts a straight platinum ground electrode to ensure reliable ignition.
