     Lower the operating temperature in your 1996-2004 Ford Mustang with one of these 4.6L Thermostats. The stock thermostat opens at 195 Degrees and we have 160, 170 and 180* thermostats available. It's strongly recommended to have your tune changed on your car so that your fan comes on sooner to take advantage of the cooler thermostat. Lower operating temps means more power.
