This is the same setup we have been using in our short shift kits for the last couple of years. It will not make your shifter a short shift kit, but it will restore it to precise shifting action.
The factory rotational cup is made of a green rubber material that is the first thing to go. If you look inside a 100K Mile car, the bushing is usually just a few crumbles. Our New Delrin bushings are made of a much harder and heat resistant plastic which will provide super precise action for the life of the car.
