When we set out to redesign our strut bar for the second-generation GR86, BRZ, and FRS, we didn’t just make small tweaks, we engineered a completely new solution. The GrimmSpeed V2 Strut Bar was built from the ground up to deliver a combination of strength, adjustability, and clean design that transforms both the feel and look of your front end.
Featuring an adjustable center bar with rod ends and precision-welded sheet metalbrackets, this design maximizes chassis rigidity while maintaining a low-profile appearance that fits seamlessly under the hood. Each bracket uses a double shear joint at every connection point, distributing load more efficiently across the chassis for consistent handling and steering response.
We used DOM mild steel tubing with CNC-cut 10-gauge brackets, finished in our signature durable wrinkle powder coat—available in your choice of red or black. Pair it with our front cross braces for the ultimate chassis reinforcement package.
Every detail of this bar serves a purpose: tightening up the front end, improving feedback through the wheel, and ensuring your suspension geometry stays true under load. The result is sharper turn-in, more predictable handling, and a confident, planted feel through corners. It’s functional engineering that delivers real results and looks good doing it.
