Unfortunately, this meant positioning components, namely the oil cooler, in precarious positions. Placed on the undercarriage and parallel to the road’s surface, the G8X oil cooler is vulnerable to bumps, scrapes, debris, and other road hazards.--The engineers at Mishimoto recognized this shortcoming while developing the Mishimoto 2021+ BMW G8X M3/M4 performance oil cooler, and in true Mishimoto fashion, pushed the limits to construct the Mishimoto 2021+ BMW G8X M3/M4 skid plate. This skid plate is constructed from high-strength aluminum and features a cross-cut design to protect your stock or Mishimoto performance oil cooler while still allowing ample airflow.
