The provided fasteners were designed to sit beneath the skid plate's surface, enabling smooth gliding over obstacles without harming the vehicle, skid plate, or the hardware. The IAG Rock Armor Fuel Tank Skid Plate can be used as a stand-alone item or in addition to other IAG Rock Armor Skid Plates for maximum coverage. IAG’s Rock Armor components were designed to fit tightly together with smooth transitions from one plate to the next in order to keep your Bronco from getting hung up on obstacles, providing as much protection as possible to your undercarriage.
The IAG Rock Armor Fuel Tank Skid Plate easily attaches to the factory mounting points on your two door Bronco without any drilling required. The entire process takes around an hour to complete, two if replacing the factory skid. You’ll need a ratchet or an impact wrench, as well as a floor jack and ratchet strap to install it.
