The entire mount is made of high quality CNC cut aluminum that has an anodized finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe driver side engine mount brackets are made from 1\/4\" mild steel that is laser cut for precise fitment. The bushing housing is CNC machined from a solid block of aluminum. And like our rear motor mounts these bushings are made from rubber instead of urethane. Many mounts for the Volkswagen and Audi platforms use lower cost Polyurethane, which readily transmits vibrations. If stopping engine movement even with added vibrations over the 55A is the goal, the 70A durometer eliminates wheel hop even further. This provides much more vibration resistance when compared to polyurethane. This material is also extremely resilient and is able to stretch and even develop small cracks without affecting its structural integrity. This allows the bushing material and the metal to have a perfect connection without any gap.
