This particular class 5 hitch features a gross trailer weight capacity of 20,000 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 2,700 lbs. It is designed to be a custom trailer hitch for certain years of the Ford F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty and F450 Super Duty (to verify your vehicle compatibility, see application info). All CURT Commercial Duty class 5 hitches feature a 2-1\/2\" x 2-1\/2\" receiver tube opening to accept the strongest of ball mounts and towing accessories. They are perfect for mounting standard ball mounts, pintle mounts, tow hooks and weight distribution hitches as well as winch mounts and cargo carriers. CURT class 5 tow hitches are protected by a co-curing of liquid A-coat and carbide black powder coat finish.
