With the long stroke of the 7m there are a lot of forced acting on the connecting rods and bearings. ARP Rod Bolts are an essential part which helps to keep these forces under control; factory hardware is simply not strong enough to hold with heavy upgrades. ARP uses premium grade 8740 alloy that is rated far superior to aircraft quality. Each bolt is precisely heat-treated to 200,000 psi.
